Good Day Singers!
Thank you to all who attended our spring workshop last Saturday. We had a full day of fun, interesting activities, lots of singing, socializing, food and drink. Thank you Mark and everyone who helped it happen.
Program Ad Sales Manager Needed
Please let me know if you are willing to help us with this necessary task as soon as possible.
It involves basically being the coordinator between singer members selling ads for our spring program, collecting the completed contracts and managing a spreadsheet with the contract details. It’s only for the rest of this term so you’ll be done with it by April 18th.
Educational Outreach
This promises to be a really fun and rewarding program to participate in. You’ll be singing two great pieces from our spring concert 2024 and your audience will be high school choral students. The students will sing a couple pieces for us and then everyone will sing a piece together. There are 2 rehearsals and 3 performances at different schools.

Siskiyou Singers Educational Outreach Program will be happening this April. You can email me at sgpeterson1@msn.com to sign up. I’ll also have the physical signup sheet and general information sheet available at the next few rehearsals. Music is available. It’s really rewarding and enjoyable; I hope you’ll consider joining us.
Sectional Rehearsals
Keep in mind we have sectional rehearsals coming up soon so be keeping a list of the places in our music that you may be struggling with. Mark will have some he’ll want to practice first and then ask singers what they would like help with.
Official Siskiyou Singers Water Bottles
I will be bringing a few water bottles to rehearsals for anyone that may want to purchase one. They are the only water bottles that will be allowed on stage during our concert performances. The board had many discussions about this and spent a lot of time trying to find a bottle that was not too big, would not make a lot of noise or leak if accidently knocked over and was easy to drink from. They are identical so you will need to put your name on it with something like blue masking tape or a white permanent marker. The cost is $5.
Hope to see you at rehearsal tonight,
Steve Thomas
