Dear Singers
I will miss you this week! I so enjoy being your director. I am sure that you will get a lot done with Laurie Anne. She will not come and show a movie…(teachers will get that joke).
Caroling 12/7 from 12 PM to 2 PM
The Ashland Chamber of Commerce has invited us to carol downtown as a part of their holiday celebration. It is really a fun, relaxed time. I don’t stress about cutoffs.🙂
Please let me know if you would like to sing with us by replying to this email. We expect 15-20 people to join us.

From the Podium
Take a look at Notes From the Podium on our website. The blog resides in the “About Us” section (so you don’t need a password). This is an amplified version of the mini-lecture about Vivaldi that I gave at the workshop. It is entitled “No Heart Is Secure.”
Thank You, Laurie Anne!
We are so lucky to have Laurie Anne Hunter helping us out at our next rehearsal. For those who don’t know her, she is an important member of the Rogue Valley music community. She is a past director of the Rogue Valley Chorale, the choir director at First Presbyterian Church in Ashland (I’m sure she would welcome you joining the choir), and an important contributor to many other musical performances going on in the Valley. In fact she has been a member of Siskiyou Singers for quite a few terms. Laurie is a pro and will lead you well. Thank you!
Put On Your Dancing Shoes
This week Becca Campbell, a long-time member of Siskiyou Singers, will be joining us to teach choreography for the song Boogie Fever. She is not just a wonderful choreographer but also a great teacher. You will enjoy it and the choreography will help make a big splash at the beginning of the second half of our program in January.
See you 11- 19
