Educational Outreach
During the year members of the Siskiyou Singers participate in an Educational Outreach program that offers free concerts in local public schools, engaging students with music and sparking a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
If you are interested in having the Singers come to your school, please contact Sally Peterson at (541) 552-0965.

Other Community Involvement
Holders of Oregon Trail cards are welcome at our concerts and receive the student price of $5 per ticket.
Siskiyou Singers also makes numerous appearances throughout the Rogue Valley. Performances include the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s Green Show and Feast of Will, as well as Ashland’s 4th of July parade.
Singing for Daedalus
The Oregon Shakespeare Festival company and audience come together every August for The Daedalus Project. This annual event raises money to end the spread of HIV/AIDS, and to remember and celebrate those who have died from this disease. Members of Siskiyou Singers participated as part of the Daedalus choir in 2014.

Feast of Will
The Feast of Will is a tradition dating back to the early 1950s, held in Lithia Park to celebrate the June opening of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s outdoor season. The event is now a fundraiser run by the Ashland Lions Club, with help from the Early Bird Club, the Ashland Garden Club, and the Boy Scouts. The Feast of Will has featured performances by the Southern Oregon Kilty Band, Jefferson Bag Pipe Band, Jefferson Baroque Orchestra and Choir, and the Siskiyou Singers.
